if you have navigation has defect drive , just replace it . if you upgrade with no nav unit - then once you installed you need to go dealer for reprogram, dealer will using Mercedes computer set/switch on navigation hard drive to your comand system !

ONLY Work on USA version NTG2.5 Comand head unit . ( NOT WORK on EUROPE OR AISA NTG2.5 SYSTEM )
- after installed, you need reprogramming your comand head unit to let your comand know you have add navigation hdd drive ! and then comand will play Navigation from your comand system
NOTE # if you want navigation shows in your Instrument Gauge Cluster & control from steering wheel, then you have to reprogram your car with DAS mercedes benz machine to let your car know you have change navigation system on your radio.
if not instrument cluster will not shows nav system or can't control navigation from your steering wheel.
so, please, call your dealer to make sure they can do it because, many of dealer didn't know how to programming ! and we don't take return if dealer can't programming..so, please, ask your installer shop or dealer first & make sure on your side for your car !!!!
if you are not sure will it work on your car, please ask your local dealer or professional engineer.
